Mediation offers separating or divorcing parents a respectful, solution-focused way to move forward. The mediator’s role is to guide conversation, provide neutral information (not legal advice), and help parents divide assets, update parenting plans, and make thoughtful decisions about their future.
Parents can mediate with or without attorneys. When self-represented, it’s especially important that the mediator explains their neutral role and emphasizes key principles like impartiality, confidentiality, and safety screening.
Mediation also helps parents access the resources they need—so they can make informed, child-centered choices that truly reflect their values.
If you unrepresented by an Attorney and are interested in my mediation services, please contact me at esperaw@sperawlaw.com and copy your spouse/partner on the email to initiate contact. Please understand that in order to remain neutral I would like all communications to be transparent and involve all parties including our initial contact.
I AM HAPPY TO OFFER ZOOM SESSIONS.
If you are represented, please discuss using my services with your attorney and have them contact me directly.
* I charge $300/hour for mediation services
